Paediatric First Aid Training
Full 12-hour Paediatric First Aid training for childminders, nannies and early years practitioners, fully compliant with current HSE, EYFS and CIW requirements.
This blended course combines:
6 hours online learning
6 hours face-to-face practical training
12 hours total training
Certificate on successful completion
Training designed to meet the EYFS Paediatric First Aid criteria
The face-to-face element develops the practical emergency skills required when caring for babies and young children, while the online element supports the underpinning knowledge and preparation for the practical session.
The full course must be completed before certification is awarded. Paediatric First Aid certificates must normally be renewed every 3 years.
