Clarence Green College provides flexible alternative education for young people who require a different approach to mainstream learning.We offer personalised programmes designed around each learner's needs, abilities and future goals, combining education, employability, personal development and preparation for progression.
Provision can be delivered one-to-one or in small groups, with flexible learning arrangements agreed according to the learner's referral and support needs.

Who We Support
Clarence Green College provides flexible alternative provision for young people who may benefit from a smaller, more personalised learning environment outside mainstream education.
Our provision can support learners who are experiencing barriers to engagement, require additional educational support, need a vocational or skills-based pathway, or would benefit from an individualised programme focused on re-engagement and progression.
Every referral is considered individually to ensure that we can safely and appropriately meet the learner’s needs and agreed outcomes.

Safeguarding & Learner Welfare
Safeguarding is central to all Alternative Provision delivered by Clarence Green College. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive and respectful learning environment in which the welfare of every young person is prioritised.
Our approach includes designated safeguarding leadership, safer recruitment, appropriate staff checks, risk assessment, attendance monitoring, clear reporting and escalation procedures, and effective information sharing with referring organisations and relevant professionals.
Before a placement begins, we review available information about the learner’s needs, risks, safeguarding considerations and support requirements so that appropriate arrangements can be agreed.
Make a Referral or Enquiry
Clarence Green College welcomes referrals and enquiries from local authorities, schools, academies, SEND professionals, parents and carers. Parents and carers are welcome to contact us directly to discuss their child’s needs and the suitability of our provision. Where a placement requires school or local-authority commissioning, we will work with the relevant education professionals to agree appropriate arrangements.
